Little can you expect what is hiding inside this 1950-s looking facade in the boring city of Sveg. Once inside you realize that you are about to step into scenes from films shot about at the same time period with the different rooms on the upper floor particularly elaborated like prison cells, a gamble room etc. In addition, the real reason why you chose this café is their products, many surreal in size, all of excellent quality. If I had lived in Sveg I would have ben here every day it's open for business.

Amazing ambient environment with old movies and the props. The horror house at first floor is the best. Food is good too, although I found the coffee not so good (not bad either). I’d definitely visit again.
We stopped there by chance on our way from Finland to Norway. And we were surprised to find such a charming and welcoming cafe in a little town. Amazing interior, good service and food. It's like a small museum with a cafe on the first floor.
Fantastic place. Visit was h year when we are in Sweden. Healthy delicious food. Interesting interior all to do with cinema/ movie sets. New outside seating, well done! Very friendly personal and the most delicious ice cream.
Great staff. Great pastry and cakes (I had pecan cheesecake and that was delicious), great ice cream! They don't have air-conditioning, which is okay most of the year but we were there at peak summer and it was hot. Fun interior.
A fantastic place and a not-so-secret gem. IMHO the greatest tourist attraction in the area. How can a small cafe in a small town be so good, charming, interesting? You don't have to be a film buff in order to enjoy the display of iconic film posters and cinema equipment. The interior itself resembles a classic US diner. The food, both sweets and light lunch dishes, soups and salads is delicious - whatever you choose.
